Field Service Advisor – Business Contract

A Field Service Advisor provides facilitated networking and support to manufacturer member plants and their contacts as well as acting as a connection between members and EMC programs and services.

Self-Employment Contract


  • Maintain and build relationships with member and non-member plants in a defined region
  • Attract (new members), integrate and retain consortia membership according to predetermined metrics and targets
  • Provide facilitated networking events in each local consortium
  • Conduct plant visits on a regular basis
  • Conduct informal needs assessment on on-going basis, monitoring member needs
  • Connect members to information and resources available to meet their needs
  • Build awareness of and connection to EMC Value Added Programs
  • Liaise with Community Partners/Government at all levels (i.e. local training boards, Economic Development, OMAFRA, MEDT)
