It’s 2021 and we are off to the races with EMC’s Western Canada SIG (Strategic Interest Group) Networking Events!  Our upcoming sessions are designed to fuel ideas, spark creativity, and thrust us forward into the fast-paced business environment we love to participate in!

Our best practice sessions are lining up, and we hope that as each green flag comes down to start us off that these experiences and insights lend to your ongoing journey in the spirit of continuous improvement!

Revving up first for 2021 is The Factors Group, from Coquitlam, British Columbia!  In true team spirit, we will be hearing from them on “Sustaining Improvement”, particularly with the ongoing issues of the pandemic and thoughts and experiences respective to their Continuous Improvement and Health and Safety journey.  January 21 is the perfect race day for knowledge and the pit crew is all set to share their best strategies for winning!

NASCAR’s Speed Week 2021 is the ultimate lead-up to this year’s 63rd running of the Daytona 500, and it seems fitting that our next EMC Networking Event should take place on February 11 in the midst of this!  We are excited to have a new group at the start-up line with a formidable engine, engaged team and plans to succeed on navigating one of the more difficult courses encountered by manufacturers across the country!  The fan stands are sure to be full as we address Attraction and Retention Strategieswith Woodtone Industries of Chilliwack, British Columbia.  It’s one Zoom-Race you don’t want to miss!

Following the above, our roster has another fabulous activity planned that is a “must-see”. We’ll need to tune in to catch the latest when it comes to this special session from a legislative standpoint:  “One Year In:  Navigating Forward” with Cooperwilliams Law of Vancouver, British Columbia!  A fan favourite, this event presents ticket-holders with an opportunity to review an amazing line-up and prepare for the year ahead.  No doubt, there are sure to be lots of questions and experiences shared relative to the various tracks of 2021!

It’s going to be a great year, one of excitement, lessons learned and strategic planning forward. We are at the start line and the green flag is ready to signal start with the roar of the great things to come.  And, we’re off!!
