Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Annual EMC / PLANT Manufacturing Management Salary Survey for 2020 in partnership with PLANT, Canada’s magazine for manufacturers.  This marks the 19th year EMC has conducted this national survey of senior industry decision makers, all of them with PLANT and sister publications!

This is your invitation to engage:

EMC and PLANT invite all senior manufacturing managers to participate in this year's outreach.  As always, to ensure the results are accurate, we are seeking continue the high level of participation in this survey seen in past years.

The responses to this survey help industry and stakeholders to understand the issues affecting manufacturing, as well as the changes anticipated in the next 5 years, and of course the current salary levels (and benefits) of manufacturing management across all sectors.  It's a great opportunity to benchmark you and your company. In conjunction with EMC's ManufacturingGPS national employer LMI study, provides a complete and comprehensive view of manufacturing LMI in Canada.

For the past two years, ‘Skills Shortage’ has been the number one issue for manufacturing management, neck and neck with ‘Cost Control’

Your participation will help provide important benchmarking information.  All responses are confidential. In addition to identifying critical issues affecting the sector, your input will help gauge salary and satisfaction levels of managers and senior executives in the manufacturing sector across Canada.  This will also enable you to benchmark your salary against others in similar positions.

Everyone who completes the survey will have the opportunity to enter into a draw for a $500 Best Buy Card. The findings will be reported in an upcoming issue of PLANT.

You may have also received an invitation to participate from PLANT.  If you have already completed the study, thank you!
