EMC BC: Virtual Networking Event Summary
Navigating the regulatory environment and latest legislative requirements Provincially and Federally this year could probably be best compared to a particularly interesting roller coaster ride where you are not quite sure what is coming around the next corner! Needless to say, in keeping the well-being and safety of our employees always in mind, it is imperative to have good advisors, resources and legal counsel to stay abreast of the ever-changing requirements!
Earlier this year, when COVID-19 first began, we did our best to expedite a Legal Update on our obligations at that time. As the months passed, and the second phase of COVID19 became a reality, we invited Eric Ito, Lawyer, now with Cooperwilliams Law in Vancouver, once again to share the latest insights from a legal perspective on this constantly “Changing Regulatory Environment and Planning Forward”!
Our special Guest Speaker opened by sharing a couple of songs that speak to “change” in general – and if you are not familiar with these, I have attached some you-tube links in the song names below… It is probably safe to say that everyone of us on the call could certainly relate to the fact that COVID has definitely become synonymous with the word “change” not to mention “flexible”, “adaptable” and “pivotable”!
