As we move forward in our businesses with topics such as Engagement, Effective Leaders, the necessity for Mental Health Plans and many other examples, it becomes evedent that a strong and effective HR presence is of high importance. Our members would like to examine the role and determine if there is a gap between where we are and where we maybe should be. Is HR a reactive function to respond to poor performance or is it a strategic function focused on the goals of the organization and how the ‘people’ can achieve that goal?
