Saint John-Charlotte SIG: Preventing Ransomware, Malware and Virus Attacks

Tuesday, March 20 9:30AM → 12:30PM Atlantic Standard Time (GMT-04:00)
We have a tremendous dependency on computer technology in our business; what would you do if your critical files were hacked or held for ransom, could you continue to operate? Being prepared with back up and security prevention may not be enough if your end users are not aware of the risks associated with everyday use as well as the correct and enforced usage policies. Through discussion and a special presentation by Martin Montplaisir we will explore how to prevent cyber-attacks and protect our businesses from the associated interruptions. This type of challenge is more frequently hitting closer to home!

On behalf of EMC and WP Griffin I would like to invite you to our upcoming event on April 4th, 2018. Our topic, Disaster Planning and Business Continuity, is one that has been requested in many of our regions.
Over the past year, we have had companies experience events that have interrupted business; Fire, faculty flooding, IT Ransom, bomb threat, loss of critical personnel….and the list goes on.
