A proud member of EMC and the Owen Sound Consortium
Owen Sound Campaign Chair Peter Rissi, left and GBHS President and CEO Maureen Solecki, right, accept the donation.
Not only is Shouldice a member of EMC, this company is dedicated to their community including the larger community of Grey and Bruce Counties.
This year the Grey Bruce Regional Hospital Foundation [GBHS] launched a campaign to bring life-saving technology and improvements to health care in the region. The GBHS operates 5 hospitals on the region, plus the Regional Hospital in Owen Sound. The goal of the campaign is to fundraise for many different initiatives across all the hospitals with the major goal to strengthen the Cancer Care Program. Major improvements are necessary in expanding, modernizing and enhancing cancer care services by creating a new Cancer Care Unit.
Brad and Steve Shouldice stepped up to the plate to help this all important campaign. Shouldice Designer Stone donated $250,000.00 to the Hospital Foundation! Wow, what a message they have sent about their dedication to this community. The Shouldice Brothers both feel, "It is a corporate donation and our people are everything."
