EMC GF2 Food, Beverage and Bio Sector Labour Productivity and Best Practice Event: A Journey in Energy Management
A JOURNEY IN ENERGY MANAGEMENT: Labour Productivity - Best Practice: This is a continuation of a special series on Embracing Responsible Energy Usage, Reduction, Sustainability Practices, Culture Development, Engagement, Labour Productivity, Process Improvement and Benchmarking Opportunities!
Companies engaged or embarking on Energy Management Initiatives and developing a culture of Sustainability, are invited to take part in a very special best practice networking event featuring our Host Campbell's Company of Canada in Toronto.
We have been fortunate over the past couple of years to have visited with some very dynamic companies truly engaged in developing and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement from an Energy Management standpoint - always looking for the next means in which to mitigate costs and improve efficiencies.
Campbell Company is a leader in embracing energy management initiatives and responsible waste management with ambitious goals for 2020 that include cutting their environmental footprint in half, ongoing reduction in energy use, examining renewable or alternative energy sources, reducing water usage by 20% and recycling 95% of their waste generated on a global basis. They are also looking at advancing sustainable packing initiatives with renewable, recyclable or recycled content materials.
Participating provides an opportunity to learn from companies who are taking strides to reduce rising costs of energy by:
• Building knowledge awareness,
• Understanding the business impact,
• Developing cultures that engage people, thereby improving labour productivity and performance improvement, and
• Enhancing relationships with suppliers and customers.
All of which can drive significant savings for a company! It's best practices, experiences and thoughts on energy management, sustainability and the road to Net-Zero Waste!
We look forward to welcoming you and on behalf of our Host, Campbell's Company of Canada, and EMC, we hope you are able to join us! Please feel free to touch base by phone (519-372-6009) or by email to bdeleeuw .org if you would like to register or with any questions at all.
All the best as always!
