Executive Director

Ian has spent most of the last 20+ years working with Purchasing Co-ops and their members.  In 2009, he helped form Buying Group Services Inc. (BGS), a Management Services Company that specializes in operating Purchasing Co-ops. 

Ian's relationship with the EMC Purchasing Co-op started in 2010 when he was ask to help launch and then manage the day to day operations.  Since then he has helped grow the Co-op to where it is today.  Ian has his MBA from Ivey Business School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Ian is recognized as one of North America's leading experts on Buying Groups.

EMC Liaison to the Co-op

Jason is our main link to EMC and acts as a Special Advisor to the Purchasing Co-operative. Prior to joining EMC as a Field Service Advisor in 2006, he worked throughout Southwestern Ontario in a sales and marketing capacity for an industrial distribution company.

Through his interactions with the Member Companies of EMC, Jason has gained a keen awareness of the issues affecting manufacturing today. He has worked extensively with Economic Development Corporations in London, Woodstock, Chatham/Kent and Windsor/Essex to help improve and grow the manufacturing base of South Western Ontario.

Jason is also on the Board of Directors for the London Region Manufacturing Council; this Council provides a voice for manufacturing in the London Region.
