Congratulations 2016 CMN - Harvard Supervisory Certificate Program Graduates!!
Another full year of success was experienced by all who participated in the CMN - Harvard Supervisory Certificate Program which included an additional 51 Supervisors/Managers/Team Associates from 21 Manufacturers receiving their certification during the Winter, Spring and Fall Sessions in 2016. This certification will make such a positive difference in career paths, day-to-day responsibilities and will contribute to the success of many participating companies! The Canadian Manufacturing Network and Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium are excited about the opportunity to assist future participants and manufacturers with this great CMN - Harvard Supervisory program in 2017. |The 2016 Fall Session successfully wrapped up with a group of Supervisors, Managers and Team Associates and their Managers from eight companies who came together on November 25th to complete their CMN - Harvard Supervisory Certificate program. Toromont Cat in Vaughan, Ontario hosted this great event where participants received certificates recognizing their efforts over the 10-week Program period.|
As part of the CMN - Harvard Supervisory Certificate program, participants completed online supervisory skill tutorials which included Problem Solving, Difficult Interactions, Health and Safety, Team Building, Leadership and Coaching skills, in partnership with Harvard Business Publishing. Additionally, they attended weekly Webinars, collaborated through a Knowledge Network and prepared a Workplace Performance Project geared towards solving a problem or creating a new opportunity for their companies. The Workplace Performance Projects completed and presented by all participants, are expected to collectively increase profitability and/or save the companies thousands of dollars.

The 2016 participants are directly contributing to the overall Workplace Performance Projects (from 2009 to 2016), representing a total impact of millions of dollars in cost, time and efficiency savings in Canadian manufacturing workplaces. Since 2009, this program has certified 301 participants with 92 participating manufacturers.
