What is the TAP program?

TAP CANADA provides companies with access to Canada’s top exporting advisors, resources, and contacts, giving them the training and support they need to become successful international traders in their specific business sector. The program’s main outcome is a finalized Strategic Export Strategy assessed and vetted by
industry leading partners and sponsors. The partners help companies navigate the export ecosystem and do not sell their services.

TAP graduates report an average growth of 38 % in export revenues one year after participation, and more than 78% of graduates focus on markets other than the U.S. In just 3 years after graduation, companies experience a 180% average increase in revenue and 280% average increase in the export revenues. The program’s goal is that participants are trade-ready to export their goods internationally. Since its launch in October 2015, TAP hasexpanded to more than 30 cities across Canada. 37% of companies secured additional financing since graduation,
at an average of 1.8 million.

A hands-on workshop is geared for small to medium-sized enterprises and
is designed to help business development & activate a market entry strategy. The program provides essential knowledge, resources and coaching to businesses so that they can strategically scale-up and overcome barriers to exporting. In very little time you will receive the training and support you need to become a successful
international trader in your business sector.
