During the premier event of the quarterly sessions dedicated to continuous Improvement at AV NAckawic, participants defined 4 critical components of productivity Improvement. Those topics put foreward will be discussed throughout the year but this topic was considered the foundational piece and will double as the regional event for the Saint John / Charltte region as well as the first of our 2020 CI events.

Intrinsic motivation has a stronger impact on employee engagement and performance than extrinsic motivation.
Harvard Business Review (HBR) cites a study on motivation by Yoon Jik Cho and James Perry that found that:
Employee engagement is 3 times more affected by intrinsic motivators than extrinsic motivators. We often speak of 'reward and recognition' ideas which are often extrinsic, and certainly have their place.
