We are very pleased to welcome Guest Speaker, Laura Lee-Blake, Chief People Officer with Pearle Hospitality Inc. (former Vice President - Human Resources at Campbell Company of Canada), to lead discussion on effective ways HR leaders can successfully partner with their business leaders with a focus to champion change through adversity.
Through our Speaker's experiences, we will examine:
- Controlling the narrative over change;
- Learnings from a challenging change journey case study;
- Creating the case for change and the rally cry for others to fully engage;
- And, building resiliency and driving results during times of personal and professional adversity!

About our Speaker:
In her role as Chief People Officer for Pearle Hospitality Laura acts as a critical business partner and trusted advisor to the senior executive team while providing strategic human resource leadership, and oversight for people & culture across all Pearle properties. Her goal is to ensure that every team member’s employment experience mirrors the amazing experience of guests by enriching each moment with genuine and thoughtful actions.
Prior to Pearle, Laura spent more than 18 years with the Campbell Soup Company in several progressive & diverse HR leadership roles including most recently as the Vice President, Human Resources Corporate Functions based in Camden, NJ and prior to that lead the HR Function in Canada for 8 years as the Vice President, Human Resources, Campbell Canada. Laura has a proven track record for driving strategic and cultural change. She possesses a broad scope of human resources expertise including leadership coaching, talent management & acquisition, employee relations, change management, wellness, and inclusion & diversity.
Prior to joining Campbell Canada, Laura held a variety of leadership roles within Human Resources, Sales & Customer Service with Delano Technology and DHL International. In addition to her HBBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, Laura has completed many Human Resources related programs and is a Kolbe Specialist™ and certified DDI Facilitator.
Away from Pearle, Laura focuses her time with her husband and two daughters and is a passionate volunteer with many community organizations. Laura has been actively involved with the Canadian Cancer Society for more than 20 years and is the current Chair of the Human Resources & Compensation Committee for the National Board of Directors. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North & West Niagara whose mission is to “enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people.
