About Our Speaker: Damien Buntsma is a member of Miller Thomson’s Litigation and Labour and Employment law groups, working out of the Toronto and Vaughan offices. Damien regularly advises private sector employers, unionized and non-unionized, within the manufacturing, industrial and construction industries. While having a reputation as a fierce advocate on behalf of employers, he advises employers on a day-to-day basis and deals with complex wrongful dismissal litigation, ongoing labour disputes, labour arbitrations, union certification applications, collective bargaining, judicial reviews and matters that come before the Superior Court, Divisional Court, Court of Appeal and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
