Richmond, BC – New opportunities to support growth for manufacturing in BC is the expected outcome of an agreement between the BC Alliance for Manufacturing and Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium of Canada (EMC). As the Alliance’s newest member EMC will work collaboratively with other Alliance members to support all manufacturing in BC.

Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) and Manufacturing AUTOMATION, is conducting its 11th annual Canadian Manufacturing Study to track the performance, progress and opportunities for improvement for Canadian manufacturers. Recently EMC partnered with CanadianManufacturing.com and PLANT Magazine to support and promote the Ontario Export Awards and several EMC members were nominated.
Many local manufacturing companies with global reach were recognized at the 2015 Ontario Export Awards, hosted by Annex Media's CanadianManufacturing.com and PLANT magazine. EMC was pleased to support the event, promoting our members from all corners of the province to be considered for the awards.
The finalists were selected from more than 80 nominations. 11 firms were named winners across a range of 13 award categories, with Mircom named Exporter of the Year.
