Attendance at EMC's Productivity Improvement Cluster Events in Northern Ontario continues to increase!
The next events are scheduled for November.
To date, multiple attendees from 101 Northern Ontario manufacturers and industry stakeholders have participated in EMC's Productivity Improvement Cluster Events.
By introducing and providing management best practices, tools and resources needed to effectively implement and sustain productivity improvements, these events are helping manufacturers to become more profitable and competitive!
Event topics have included:
- Workplace Organization, Visual Management, and Implementing Change
- Understanding and identifying real waste in business practices and common sense tools to counter these wastes.
- Leadership action required to reach maximum productivity, plus concepts supporting the people of the organization and implementing leader standard work.
- Understanding some of the largest gains in productivity come from the application of simple tools…Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, Standard Work, 5S, PDCA (A3), Problem Solving.
