Promoting industry in general to engage the youth, attract new hires and retain valued members of our companies, presents an opportunity for all Manufacturers to take pride in what they do and how they do it. Needless to say, there are some excellent forums in which to do just that - from discussions at EMC Food Sector Networking Events across the Province, to active participation in Career Fairs and Student-Teacher Plant Tour Days, etc. Quite simply, it is all about highlighting and advocating a career choice that offers learning, growth and experience and pointing out programs of choice for those with an interest in pursuing a career in Manufacturing. We invite you to join us at an upcoming EMC Food, Beverage and Bio Sector Networking Event to share experiences on enhancing business competitiveness and building on industry opportunities for those with an interest in pursuing manufacturing as a career choice!

As the year ebbs ever closer to an end, there is no better time to reflect upon the gifts of friendship through networking, on knowledge shared, on opportunities to grow, and on the people with whom we work, generate ideas, and create products with. It is a great time to consider business and personal accomplishments, reflecting on those new years' goals we ambitiously set for ourselves in January, team achievements, challenges conquered, projects started, connections made, ideas explored, and lessons learned along the way. No matter how you look at it, a year presents a myriad of opportunities for us to share and to learn from each other, and that in itself is a wonderful gift that we need to be truly thankful for!
