FOOD, BEVERAGE, BIO & AG CONFERENCE: 14th Annual Strategy Institute North American Food Safety Summit
This year marks the 14th Annual Strategy Institute North American Food Safety Summit which is being held at the Airport Marriott Hotel in Toronto, Ontario on April 17th and 18th, 2018. EMC has truly enjoyed partnering on this worthwhile initiative year over year as it offers Processors an opportunity to connect with peers, subject matter experts and gain insight on any number of Food Safety related matters.
Each year the Food Safety Summit brings together a wonderful lineup of Industry and Subject Matter Experts who share the latest insights on regulatory and legislative matters, reducing recalls, audit preparations, avoiding contamination, preventing food fraud, enhancing pathogen detection and compliance training.
There are many opportunities to learn and most certainly the overviews provided by both the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) always provide the perfect foundation on which to build Summit knowledge experiences.
This year, the CFIA will start Day 1 with a keynote address that focuses on preparations for the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations. The FDA will provide the keynote on Day 2 and will share insight relating to new developments relating to the FSMA. These are always excellent opportunities to catch up on the latest regulation requirements and sets the tone perfectly for all of the excellent presentations to come relating to Food Safety.
