Brantford Member Champion Gord Jamieson (Ranpro) Launches a Second Career as a Stand-Up Comedian
Congratulations to EMC’s 2002 Safety Group members who celebrated their achievement last Wednesday, at a special Awards & Rebate Ceremony in Guelph. More than 100 EMC members, staff, community partners & officials came together to celebrate the group’s tremendous achievement.
After some networking and catching up, the group was welcomed by EMC President & GM Al Diggins The folks were treated to a keynote address from Jacqueline Lund of Mathews, Dinsdale & Clark who spoke on Bill C45 – Health & Safety, A Criminal Matter.
The presentation was very well received by the audience and was followed by a nicely served dinner. Following dinner, EMC made a brief presentation, along with a few members speaking on behalf of their company/region and the presentation of cheques. EMC champion and founding Brantford member Gord Jamieson officially launched a new career as a stand-up comedian as he had the crowd in stitches, while conveying thanks on behalf of the members, as well as his involvement in the Safety group and the benefits Ranpro has gained through both EMC and the Safety Group.
Gord was outstanding in his wrap up of the day’s events! Yuk Yuk’s look out!
