Honda first day of Christmas my true love sent to me, a partridge in a pear tree!
I may be in danger of being knocked off the blog stream for corny Christmas jokes, so I'd better keep my day job (and what a job it is)! I am deeply privileged to work with EMC members who understand the value that they get from their EMC membership and who attend and host SIG Events, increase their bottom lines through our buying groups, and keep their employees at the peak of their game with training (and safe work environments).
From my experience visiting members and running SIG Events in Burlington/Oakville in the last year, manufacturers are forging ahead with plans to increase safety in their plants, harness their employees' innovative ideas, implement visual controls, and do more with less (whether that's less space, less employees, or less lost time). Members visited their neighbours' facilities during SIG Events and through privately arranged tours, and many also took advantage of tours we arranged at Toyota and Honda.
In short, it's been a busy year. 2018 is shaping up to be just as busy, and I'm excited about the schedule of SIG Events that's coming together.
I wish all members of the Burlington/Oakville consortium a safe and happy holiday break. I hope that 2018 will be successful and upbeat both personally and professionally. Best wishes of the season,
