THRC Online Training Programs 

As part of EMC's continuous efforts to help build manufacturing competitiveness and to help our members engage online productivity improvementTHRC_Logo.jpg training, EMC members across Canada are now able to access a series of online training programs, providing member employees and their families with access to world-class training & development.

These programs are being made available in partnership with EMC and the Textiles Human Resources Council (THRC) and will be made available through your EMC membership! This training is being offered FREE to EMC member employees and their families!* 

EMC has teamed up the Textiles Human Resources Council to bring a plethora of online training courses to our members for an amazingly low price.  In these current times, having the capacity to carry on doing training with employees is paramount for two reasons: Be prepared for when the economy turns around and Keep morale high and folks engaged - even those who may be on temporary lay off

Level One - This level gives all employees access to all of the courses available.  This level also gives employees' immediate family members access to most of the courses.  At this point in time, the computer courses available for immediate family members include the demo courses for Internet Explorer 7, Word 2007, Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007, and Outlook 2007.  The other 25 PC Skills programs are limited to employee use.

Level Two - This level of access allows the company to use the website as a learning management tool.  It gives the ability create learning plans for individuals, assign courses, track usage, run admin reports, upload company information (PowerPoints, employee handbook, policies, procedures, training, to augment the existing online training or to create your own), etc.

*There is a small annual administration fee in order to access the courses.
