EMC Food Sector Network - SIG Event - Simcoe, ON - Host: NORFOLK FRUIT GROWERS ASSOCIATION
CONTINUING ON THE LEAN JOURNEY and COMPLIANCE DOCUMENTATION: The first of two special events will feature the lean journey that Norfolk Fruit Growers Association has undertaken for the past several years. Welcoming input from their peers, a company overview, plant tour and discussion may yield additional suggestions for improvement for their facility. Current projects include eliminating waste on the corrugated line and raw product usage. Our second session will focus on Compliance Documentation. A timely subject in light of industry's increasing requirements for documentation and certification.
