SR. MANAGERS, CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, FINANCE, and HUMAN RESOURCES NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES: EMC Canada Food Sector Members with an interest in these roles are invited to participate with the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge Regional Consortium in back to back focus sessions. These Events are very well attended and present wonderful experiences to benchmark with your peers! Our Host, DC Foods Inc., in Waterloo is looking forward to having you join us!
DC Foods is a custom and private label food processing facility that specializes in battered and breaded poultry, meat, fish and cheese for the retail and foodservice markets.
We have some excellent discussion topics lined up and invite you to participate in all or as many as you wish!
Starting the day off, we will be looking at the "Opportunity of Growing Your Facility" with Senior Managers and are pleased to welcome representatives from MTE and ABA to provide an overview of site plan and building permit processes and the differences between municipalities. A plant tour will also be available - so please remember safety shoes.
Continuous Improvement Managers will be taking in a tour and then looking at opportunities when it comes to optimizing "Space". This session involves group work and brainstorming and is an excellent opportunity to provide your thoughts and inputs to aid our Host.
A brand new SIG networking opportunity will surround those in Finance positions and we will be exploring "Costing" - how does your business manage it, audit, evaluate it etc.? And, what challenges do you have when it comes to costing?
The final session for the day will examine Recruiting and Selection with those interested in Human Resource issues.
