"MORNING MARKET PROCESS AND DESIGN": Managers with an interest in aspects of Continuous Improvement will have an opportunity to learn from the Team as Sleeman Breweries Ltd. in Guelph as they share their Morning Market initiative which came through the expansion of their lean practices. This is a Guelph Regional Consortium activity and on behalf of our Host, we hope you are able to join us for this special session!
We are very pleased to have Sleeman Breweries Ltd. hosting this special networking event and plant tour opportunity!
As mentioned above, the company has recently expanded their Lean Practices to include a Morning Market. Morning Markets are typically held on the shop floor and involve a quick 15 minute meeting to identify problems, document corrective actions, assign responsibilities, and set expected due dates.
These sessions are led by a team leader or area supervisor and attendees are cross-functional - representing quality, engineering, materials and management. This problem solving meeting has become one of the main methods of communication.
We would be delighted to have you join us for this great networking session to learn more about Morning Markets and how the Sleeman team is employing this new tool!
