Food Sector Manufacturing Network

In March 2009, EMC began the Food Sector Network Initiative, with a cross-province trek, meeting with representatives from all levels in the Food and Beverage Industry. This began with a series of Senior Manager Strategic Interest Group (SIG) events, hosted to gain insight for the development of networking and learning opportunities for those involved in this sector. For many years, Canadian food and beverage manufacturers have enjoyed a relatively 'recession-free' existence in our economy.

Welcome to our F&B Sector Online Network!

The past three years have been very exciting and have provided some wonderful opportunities for networking with peers in Industry across the Province! We have tackled a number of issues during our discussions, have enjoyed Best Practice presentations, learned from Industry experts, and enjoyed a number of plant tours!

Our EMC Food and Beverage Sector SIG Networking Schedule for 2012 has some great activities planned, and our Hosts, throughout the Province, and I would like to invite you to mark your calendars and join us at one of our upcoming Events!  There is additional information on each session available on our Food Sector Calendar

As always, we welcome your input and feedback, and appreciate learning from your experiences - if you are interested in hosting or in sharing best practices at any time - please let me know.

Finally, just a note, if you have not had the chance to register online as either a Member or as a Member of our Online Community, please take a moment to do so, that we may keep you abreast of our latest news.

Welcome once again to EMC Canada and our Food Sector Initiative!
