Using a blended approach of online technologies and face-to-face meetings, this program will encourage the development of critical thinking, leadership and management skills.

Study Outline

Through the completion of the Online Health & Safety portion of the course and the inclusion of Health & Safety considerations in their course project, companies will meet their obligations for ensuring Supervisors are familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations that apply to their Operations. Participants will present completed projects to the group.

Meetings & Networking (~20 hours) Online meetings, facilitated by Harvard professionals, will provide opportunites to discuss learning objectives and projects, as well as network with other program participants. Participants will also have access to Knowledge Networks to connect with solutions and ideas from thier network. A one-day workshop will wrap up program activities.

Program Details

Mandatory Requirements: Participants and their direct managers must bring a main business activity to assess and improve for the Workplace Performance Project.
Who Should Participate: Companies should register those who need to develop critical supervisory skills and high potential candidates for future management roles.
Duration: 60-70 hours over 3 months (~ 4-5 hours a week)

The program will run for 12 weeks starting the week of April 8, 2013.
