About the Speaker:
Bill Petch, Senior Consultant, Value Stream Solutions
Senior Consultant & Master Kaizen Facilitator, Bill Petch has a diverse background in manufacturing, service & sales industries, as well as pursuing entrepreneurial interests for more than fourteen years. Bill has held management positions in key areas of business, such as Training Manager, Production Manager and Plant Manager and was with a major Tier one automotive supplier for eleven years, where he was first introduced to lean manufacturing.
With more than 35 years of manufacturing experience, the last 9 of which have been learning and practicing lean manufacturing techniques, Bill has the knowledge and experience necessary to build and train successful teams. He specializes in designing and implementing complete 'lean' programs for a variety of different industries.
Known as 'Kaptain Kaizen', Bill has successfully facilitated over two hundred Kaizen events or blitzes during the past decade. He adheres to the principal that it is more productive to teach a company the skills and concepts that are necessary for self reliance than to make changes for them so many of these were designed to 'train-the-trainer'. The teams that he has facilitated have returned several million dollars in immediate cost reduction or productivity increases.
