The Journey to World Class Lean

At SigmaPoint Techologies, we have embarked on a 3 year journey to be a world leader in Lean Manufacturing practices, setting to culminate on July 2, 2010 at 12:00 noon. This workshop will describe that journey, with focus on the culture change, the habits and metrics before and after, and the 30+ projects throughout the organization to achieve the certification.

About the Speaker:

Lyn McDiarmid, Director of Supply Chain, SigmaPoint Technologies Inc.
Lyn joins SigmaPoint with over 30 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, primarily at Mitel and BreconRidge. After fulfilling various operations and material management roles in Kanata, Lyn completed three separate international assignments in Mexico and Europe, returning to Canada to lead a number of high-level projects around acquisitions and system integrations. Lyn is responsible for all aspects of SigmaPoint's supply chain, including planning, scheduling, procurement and warehousing.
