Beginning Xerox Oakville's Lean Journey:
Xerox on I.C.E.

Xerox Corporation is very strong in what it calls "Lean Six Sigma" although most of the current program's strength lies in "Six Sigma" versus "Lean". In 2009, the Oakville Colour Toner Plant set out to build additional competencies in the Lean arena and become a center of Lean knowledge within the Xerox Toner manufacturing world. The approach was three fold. First, acquire knowledge using benchmarking with the help of the EMC and AME organizations. Second, focus tremendous effort on engaging employees at all levels. Lastly, share this new knowledge with the rest of Xerox Toner manufacturing and encourage them to continue the charge.

This is the story of the first year of the Oakville Plants journey - Xerox on I.C.E. (Improving Continually with Employees)

Featured Best Practice(s)
