About the Speaker:

Steve Goodwin, Partner, Hicks Morley
Steve Goodwin, provides labour relations and employment advice to both public and private sector employers, including the manufacturing, construction, healthcare, social services, high technology and insurance sectors. His areas of specialization include Union campaigns, certifications, collective bargaining, arbitrations, illegal strikes, injunctions, wrongful dismissal, human rights, and workplace safety. Steve is a Past President of the Grand Valley Chapter of the HRPAO. He works closely with numerous employer groups in Southwestern Ontario, where he is a frequent speaker, providing proactive advice to educate employers on how to effectively manage their labour and employment issues. Steve has taught courses at both the College and University level on Human Resources and Labour Relations.

Matthew Mihailovich, Associate, Hicks Morley
Matthew Mihailovich is an Associate lawyer at Hicks Morley's Waterloo office.  He practises in all areas of labour and employment law, advising a wide variety of public and private sector clients. He also works with numerous employer groups, where he appears as a frequent speaker, providing strategic and proactive human resources advice to employers. Matthew is the Membership Director of Hamilton Chapter of the HRPAO, and is fluently bilingual.
