Robert J. LawlessRetired Chairman, President and CEO, McCormick & Company Inc.Robert J. Lawless is a retired member of the Corporate Board of Directors of McCormick & Company, Incorporated and served as its Chairman from March 1999 until his retirement in March 2009. McCormick is a global leader in the manufacture, marketing and distribution of spices, herbs, seasonings, marinades, flavors and other specialty food products to the entire food industry. The publicly-traded company sells to customers and consumers in approximately 100 countries around the world. Mr. Lawless was employed by McCormick & Company for over 30 years, serving as Chairman, President & CEO. Mr. Lawless oversaw a series of key acquisitions that added to the company's global portfolio of market-leading brands. During his eleven years as CEO, sales for McCormick grew from $1.7 billion to $2.9 billion. Profit nearly doubled and the stock price tripled. Born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, Mr. Lawless attended Lambton Central Collegiate Institute in Petrolia and graduated from college in Windsor, Canada, with a major in chemistry. He is married to Cathy, and they have one daughter and two granddaughters. | |

Adam was admitted to the partnership in 2003 and was appointed Managing Partner for Southwestern Ontario in 2007. He also plays a National role at Deloitte by managing our mid-market practices across the country. The Southwestern Ontario practice includes nearly 500 people in Niagara, Hamilton/Burlington, Kitchener-Waterloo, London and Windsor. Adam grew up in Niagara, but has made Hamilton his home for the last 10 years. He is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. | |

Rob MacIsaacPresident, Mohawk College of Applied Arts and TechnologyRob MacIsaac is the 7th President of Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology. As the first Chair of Metrolinx, Rob MacIsaac guided the transportation agency through its first three years of development and the preparation of the first ever regional transportation plan for the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton (GTHA). Titled "The Big Move", the plan developed under Mr. MacIsaac's leadership is the most ambitious transportation plan in North America, calling for the largest transit expansion in Ontario's history. The $50 billion plan recommends over 100 transportation improvements over the next 25 years. Prior to his work at Metrolinx, Rob MacIsaac served as mayor of the City of Burlington between 1997 and 2006. During this time, he became well-known for his regional approach and progressive growth management ideas for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. He led the effort to develop a vision and recommendations for a growth management strategy for South Central Ontario which ultimately formed the basis of Ontario's award winning Places to Grow Plan. He subsequently chaired a provincial task force that established the founding principles for a permanent Greenbelt for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The Greenbelt Plan preserves more than 1.8 million acres of forest, natural lands and farmlands in the most populous region of Canada. | |
Ted NolanVP of Hockey Operations, Rochester American'sThe winner of the 1996-97Jack Adams Award as NHL Coach of the Year, Nolan has extensive experience leading hockey teams that exceed expectations and win championships. After a 9-year layoff from coaching in the NHL, Nolan confounded experts by leading the New York Islanders to the Stanley Cup playoffs in 2006-07. The previous year he was named General Manager of the Year in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League when he revamped the Moncton Wildcats with 14 new players and led them to the Memorial Cup finals. In so doing, he also became the first coach to ever lead teams in two of the three major Junior leagues to the Memorial Cup finals. The former fifth round draft pick (1978) of the Detroit Red Wings has spent much of the last decade improving the lot of First Nation Youth across Canada with his Ted Nolan Foundation and through motivational presentations. He is best known for effective communications, bringing order to chaos, and developing productive, trusted relationships. He remains a role model, grassroots leader and philanthropist rolled into one. |
