The Kitchener-Waterloo/Cambridge EMC SIG Networking Events consists of 5 structured networking events hosted by manufacturing facilities in the region: Sr Managers (7:30 am), Continuous Improvement (9:30 am), Topic TBD (12 noon) and Human Resources (2:00 pm).

ENERGY MARKET OUTLOOK: Energy costs are a major line item for most businesses. This special session is open to all Manufacturers with an interest in controlling energy costs while looking at reducing our carbon footprints. This event will focus on the current state of Ontario's energy market and look at what EMC Members are doing to manage costs while developing and adopting sustainable energy tactics and technologies.

This peer-to-peer networking event is for folks in Environmental, Health & Safety positions. These events are held bi-monthly and the purpose is to network, benchmark, and learn from each other and, occasionally, from outside presenters.

First, John Gunn, from Aegis (our new EMC partner re: capital solutions) will be attending and sharing a presentation & discussion re: “Uncovering Unique Financial Solutions”. Our second guest speaker, Carol A Armstrong, Executive Director of Eastern Ontario CFDC Network, who will be introducing SOFII – the Southern Ontario Fund for Investment in Innovation. This new, $20-million program is available to support growth or expansion of innovative companies based in Southern Ontario.
