Cost Reduction Opportunities/Strategies 

Cost control and efficiency do not happen by themselves, even for the manufacturer with the best intentions. There are some niches in the business where the competitive advantages might be the design skills, marketing skills or the ability to react quickly to the demands of the marketplace; however for most companies the ability to produce at competitive costs is very important.
