EMC Members from Three Provinces Converge on Intertape Polymer in Truro to Discuss Emergency Preparedness
Truro member Intertape Polymer hosts An EMC SIG that has a topic of interest to many. Emergency Preparedness is something regrettably many of us think of after an emergency. Our hosts however have put a lot of thought into it and know it is better to plan ahead.
EMC members from Truro, Halifax, PEI, New Brunswick and the South Shore attended the recent Truro and area SIG to hear about and discuss Emergency Preparedness. After a trip around the table for introductions the group received an update on the goings on at EMC both locally and nationally. A full slate of events is in place for members across Nova Scotia with events planned for the South Shore, Truro and Amherst before months end.
EMC Members are invited to attend their local events and to take in any and all events across the province. Please review the attached invitations and let us know who will be attending from your organization.
Members should also mark their calendars for April 5 when Halifax members Trecan Combustion and April 11 when Truro Members Intertape Polymers will be hosting (details available soon)

In response to member requests, we are pleased to post invitations to the events scheduled for EMC members across Nova Scotia.
As is always the case, members are free to attend ANY event in ANY consortium (all you need to do is register in advance). Note: The event in Halifax will focus on Government training available in HRM for HRM members, the same info will be provided through the spring in other regions.
Let us know if you are interested in signing up for any of these events. In most cases, seating is limited.

A brief look back at 2011 and a wish for a prosperous 2012 from EMC...
2011 was truly a mix of the good, the bad and the ugly... the Royal wedding with all its fluff, the ongoing Euro crisis, and who could forget the Japanese disaster?
