2011 was a very exciting year for the EMC Safety group and the new 360 Safety Program. We had an unprecedented amount of success with our WSIB Validation audits resulting in nearly $2 Million dollars in rebates for the participating companies. Once again our participants saw a double digit reduction in accident frequency and severity rates. With 7 perfect scores in our validation audits, our participants once again showed the true strength of their programs. EMC is blessed with having the best manufactures in Canada as members and arguably the world. We were able to increase support for our members by introducing the 360 program. A program driven by our members' requirements, we brought on board solution providers for many of the annual health, safety and environmental requirements such as Employee medicals, Prestart Health and Safety Assessments, Wellness programs, engineering programs and waste water programs. This added to the strength of our existing ergonomic provider and the Safety Group. On a personal note I would like to thank all of the companies that I have had the privilege to work with. I look forward to every day of work because of you. If 2012 is anything like 2011 I can't wait to get started. I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
