Thank you to everyone for their input for our October event with guest speakers from the Department of Labour. I have had discussions with the Department of Labour and we will be finalizing the details of these meetings shortly.

During the May Safety Group meetings in Truro & Dartmouth, we discussed Accident Frequency Rates, the 6 steps of the Management System, Communication Vs Training, and the Group Element Hazard Recognition. During the Hazard Recognition presentation we covered Techniques for Hazard Recognition, The Importance of Standards, and the Four Principles of Hazard Recognition Techniques.
