Despite a volatile marketplace and the resulting economic turmoil, EMC members overcame many challenges through diversity and determination.  

We are pleased to report that when asked, several EMC members said "What recession?"  

EMC would like to thank everyone who generously opened their facilities to host the 23 Strategic Interest Group events held this year, including:  Seaplast (Promens), Dew Engineering, Sabian Cymbal, Ganong Brothers, Transcontinental Printing, Norampac, Vector Aerospace, Dairytown Products, Atlantic Windows, Craig Manufacturing, Systemair (Fantech), Glennwood Kitchen, Downeast Plastics, Molson Brewery and Polycello.

Outstanding attendance was shown for the Supervisor/Lead Hand events and a warm thank-you to our special guests Tim Kelly and George Raine.

EMC's "Members-Need-Help" service played a pivotal role within our member community in 2010.  With a networking community of over 900 manufacturers, everyone rallied to respond to our member needs.

Having recently joined the EMC team, I am amazed by the Vision and Mission to bring our members together to achieve bigger and brighter things.  I am very fortunate to have been involved with EMC over the last 5 years as a member... and now as an Field Service Advisor for EMC.  The opportunity to work with ALL our members is very exciting. I look forward to touring the Consortiums, establishing an everlasting relationship with the members.

In 2011, EMC will continue our established events including the regional Owner/CEO and Supervisor/Lead Hand events, and of course all the Strategic Interest Groups (SIG)" in each consortium community... with a scheduled 27 events planned so far!
