WorksafeNB Conference Participant, Greg Fergus of Moosehead, wins the Prize!
Thank You to all who visited the EMC Canada booth at the recent 30th annual WorksafeNB Conference. The aim of the conference was to educate and report on current health and safety issues and trends, and to improve workplace health and safety practices. It was impressive to see the number of folks attending who, obviously, view Health and Safety in their workplaces as a priority.
Congratulations to Greg Furgus, Health and Safety Manager for Moosehead Breweries, on winning the prize draw at the EMC booth. I appreciate that Greg was able to spend a few minutes with me and also allowed me to take a picture of him and his friend for this article
Although many may be the familiar with the product that Moosehead produces, i doubt so many are familiar with the fascinating history of the organization.
As Canada's oldest independant brewery, established in 1867 and spanning…

During this event we will also take some time to talk about what the year ahead holds for you as an employee, and for your organization. Our goal is to continue to provide consistent networking venues that are relevant to what is happening in your building.

Through the delightful process of member visits, one of the top discussions has involved the need for training. In the past, public events have not had the response for all to run as planned and that has created disappointment to those whose intent was to participate. In an effort to provide successful training events Glenn and I, along with Todd Oliver in our training centre, have worked hard to provide a schedule of training for this fall that represents the needs.
Please keep in mind that these are separate from the regular networking events happening in the communities.
We realize that most of you are still savoring summer, but now is a good time to think about your training plans for the fall and, yes, even beyond! The chart below includes all the information on what is available, when and the costs associated. Also, you may click on the link associated with the event title to find out more about that program and the facilitator.
