EMC National Manufacturing Conference

To all of the EMC staff for your unheralded and tireless work in making this event fulfill it's potential.

To Gay and Bren for your unending support.

To Todd Oliver and Al Diggins for your friendship.

To all of those who participated in our sessions for making us (Jim and I) look good - no small task.

To all of you who took the time to pass on your kind words - THANK YOU!

To Rick Mercer for reminding us why we are proud to be Canadians - with humility and humour.

And most of all to my good friend and colleague Jim Morris for his selfless support and personal generosity.

I'm honoured to be a small part of this amazing organization!

Doug

Great post Doug!  Thanks again for your amazing contribution to the EMC blogs and the conference.  I didn't get a chance to say hi but I heard great feedback about your session and Jim's.

Thanks for the kind words Laura. We'll see you next time!

Doug

Doug and Jim,
You are both wonderful, wonderful presenters and it was indeed our pleasure to have you with us!!  As always, there is so much to learn from your journeys and we are so delighted that you have shared that with us all in such an interactive learning environment!
Thanks so much!!  Best wishes always!!
Bren

Always a pleasure Bren!

Cheers,

Doug

Thank you so much Doug - you are the BEST!  Ross and I really enjoyed sharing a table at the Awards Dinner with you, Jim Morris, Christine Warner and our new friends from Sudbury.  The dinner conversation was very interesting and, due to Rick Mercer's comments later, downright hilarious.  Jim is a good sport.  Wonderful evening and I congratulate you heartily on receiving this award.  It was truly meant to be.

Take care, Gay

Cheers Gay,

Doug
