Celebrate your energy efficiency successes
The Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) is pleased to offer companies the chance to celebrate their recent successes in better managing their energy use. On November 29th, 10 companies and two post-secondary students will be honoured with a CIPEC Award for their successful energy efficiency projects at Energy 2011, Canada's foremost industrial energy efficiency conference.
Companies are eligible for a CIPEC Leadership Award under the following categories:
- corporate stewardship
- process and technology improvements
- monitoring and tracking
- employee awareness and training
- integrated energy efficiency strategy
Students are eligible for a CIPEC Future Leaders Award under the following categories:
- leading-edge project - a project with advanced technologies and approaches that applies to an industrial setting (not necessarily implemented to date).
- applied project - a practical project developed and implemented in an industrial setting.
Now is your chance to take part
The call for nominations process is simple.
For the CIPEC Leadership Award, companies are asked to complete the attached nomination form and submit it by September 16, 2011. Indicate the award category for which each project should be considered and describe how your initiative(s) meets some, or all, of the evaluation criteria.
For the CIPEC Future Leaders Award, students must provide a maximum of 250 word description of their project along with supporting documentation by September 30, 2011.
