On March 11th, the Barrie/Midland & Area Q&P SIG was hosted at Garaga Doors in Barrie.  A presentation was given focusing on Garaga's lean journey thus far and the changes that had resulted.

The dashboard and all the implications of the changes that had been made at the bottleneck machine were highlighted during the tour.  The results have been nothing but positive.  There is an electronic timing/counting display along with very clear work instructions and everyone knows exactly what they should be doing when in order to keep the flow maximized.  Anyone walking past the board can tell at a glance if the schedule is being met and if not why not.
