Oxford Frozen Foods presented a Best Practice on Health & Safety & Due Diligence, along with a general discussion surrounding the topic of an “Aging Workforce” and a wrap up presentation by the Province of Nova Scotia on the PIP and WIPSI programs.

Introductions lead the morning with a full room of cross-border members from NS and NB along with an EMC update on the Canadian Manufacturing Network , the power of utilizing Member Need Help (see attached tutorials), the upcoming SR&ED claim review sessions and the activity surrounding the training cluster being offered in NS.

Amherst EMC members, Waldale Manufacturing and LED Roadway Lighting, co-host a SIG event with a focus on Attendance Management and the new DTAPP program from IRAP.

Members from the Cumberland County, Moncton and P.E.I. Consortia were treated to an interesting member best practice presentation on Continuous Improvement by our hosts at LED Roadway Lighting (formerly CVision) in Amherst. LED Roadway Lighting is a manufacturer of innovative LED streetlights used by municipalities and commercial clients throughout the world.

LED Roadway Lighting started life as CVision and was originally a contract manufacturer of high tech components / assemblies for clients both local and around the world.
