On Friday, December 9th, participants in the THRC Harvard Supervisory Certificate Course attended the final workshop to present their workplace projects and to collect their certificates.
The day was a roaring success with participants from all over Ontario including Rose Integration, James Ross Limited, GreenField Ethanol, Bonduelle North America, Toromont CAT, Checkfluid, Cargill Value Added Meats, and Invista.
The workplace projects were wide ranging and included many different aspects of business as follows:
- Computer Training Skills
- Continuous Quality Enhancement
- Invoice Cycle Process Enhancement
- First Off Process Enhancement
- H&S Policy Implementation
- Customer Credit Rating System
- PC Systems Compliance Updates
- Quality Process Improvement
- Personnel Scheduling Optimization
The presentations were extremely well done and informative. Some of the participants had never given presentation before, however, you would not have been able to guess who because everyone excelled.
Every participant and manager to whom I spoke was very pleased with the program and their progress.
Many thanks go to our host Toromont CAT in Concord. The facilities, the refreshments, and the warm welcome - everything was terrific - including the cake!
The next Supervisory Certificate program will begin the week of February 20th, 2012. If you would like more information regarding the program and the costing, etc. please contact Stephanie Yakimishyn at stephanie@emccanada.org
