EMC is pleased to announce the spring date for the upcoming THRC-Harvard Supervisory Certificate Program has been confirmed. The program will start the week of March 26th and finish the week of June 11th specifically on June 15th.

This program was run in the fall of 2011 with great success.  The participants responded to workplace challenges they identified and the projects allowed the supervisors to apply their newly-acquired skills while effecting process improvements resulting in direct cost savings and other efficiencies for their companies.

On Friday, December 9th, participants in the THRC Harvard Supervisory Certificate Course attended the final workshop to present their workplace projects and to collect their certificates.

The day was a roaring success with participants from all over Ontario including Rose Integration, James Ross Limited, GreenField Ethanol, Bonduelle North America, Toromont CAT, Checkfluid, Cargill Value Added Meats, and Invista.

 The workplace projects were wide ranging and included many different aspects of business as follows:

It's that time of the year, folks!

It is funny that we don’t work any less in the summer than any other time of the year (except of course for summer vacations if you took one) but for some reason September feels like it’s time to “get back to business”. I guess we are all, to some extent, tied to the back to school time or the settling in that the fall weather brings.
