Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium is proud to have great relationships in all communities and support by community partners. We believe these relationships are important as another level of value to assist EMC members. Likewise, EMC is often approached to stand behind and become a strategic partner on community initiatives.
The RIC Centre in Peel Region is one such example. EMC is proud to support and participate in a program recently launched to assist Peel Region manufacturers during this incredibly tough time for manufacturers. We are pleased to be joined by ABB Robotics, EMC Member and industry partner for the Innovate > Forward program.

Innovation Management is designed to help innovators adopt new innovation into their business. It focuses on product innovation, process, service and business model innovation, to increase company revenues and profitability.
RIC Centre coordinated an event in the fall to focus on the adoption of innovation in manufacturing. Companies agree that it is important to adopt innovation but implementation is a struggle. Processes are in place to maintain certain levels of efficiency to protect their existing business. These processes are usually risk adverse.
