Mike comes to EMC with a very diverse background to facilitate SIG’s and perform the duties of Senior Field Service Adviser. During his 7 years with EMC he has facilitated and launched consortiums all across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Mike’s background includes public and private sector work in Canada and overseas in human resources, employment, training, education and the humanities over the past twenty five years. Mike possesses a unique ability to establish relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of industry and mobilize people to engage in the activities EMC delivers. Mike has a Masters Degree in Adult Education and Organizational Development from Athabasca University, a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Social Science and Applied Human Studies from the University of Guelph, as well as certifications in Human Resources and Teaching and Training Adults. Mike is also a part time musician, baseball coach, and lives in Owen Sound with his wife Diane and children Kendra and Peter.
