About
Bren brings with her an appreciation for the benefits that networking through EMC can bring - particularly with respect to benchmarking beyond our own organizations and sectors, thinking creatively, and ultimately broadening our horizons. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Bren also holds two Ontario Management Development Program Certificates from Conestoga College in Business Management and also in Leadership Skills. Training and staying in touch with new and innovative developments within the manufacturing industry has always been important to her. She worked for many years in a manufacturing facility and brings to the table experience in Human Resources, Health and Safety, Continuous Improvement and Management. The company she represented was one of the first members of the Owen Sound group and as such, Bren has been involved in EMC activities and initiatives from almost the beginning. Her education, manufacturing experience and activities as a Senior Community Development Manager working with Manufacturers across Canada, together with Community Partners and Sector organizations gives her a solid understanding in the value of networking, the importance of teamwork and and the integral function that both communication and good leadership provide.
